Prey like all other games we have tested so far, prefers the 640MB version of the 8800 GTS. The performance margin at 1280x1024 actually extends for the first time to a 29% lead for the 640MB card. However, by the time we reach 1024x768 the margin has been reduced to just 9% in favor of the more expensive 640MB card.

Finally, Quake 4 has a few more results for us and as you can see the 640MB card is 20% faster at 1600x1200 with the higher AA/AF settings enabled. The 1280x1024 resolution reduced the performance margin to 17%, in favor of the 640MB card. Interestingly, at this resolution the 8800 GTS (320MB) is just 5% faster than the 7950GT (512MB) graphics card.
