The Vertex 4 took an average of 9.3 seconds to load Windows 7, roughly equal to the SandForce SF-2281 drives as well as the Octane 512GB and Crucial m4 512GB.

Its multitasking performance is also on par with other high-performance SSDs, taking just 4.9 seconds to complete this task, matching the 520 Series and HyperX 3K.

The Vertex 4 took just 1.2 seconds to load Photoshop CS4, which matches the performance seen from other high-performance SSDs.

When loading the "All In" StarCraft II level, the Vertex 4 took a mere 10.2 seconds, similar to the results recorded when using the 520 Series and HyperX 3K.
