When paired with DDR3-2133 memory and running in its 65W mode, the A8-7600 managed a bandwidth of 15.73GB/s, which is comparable to the A10-6800K with DDR3-2400 memory. It's worth noting that we didn't test the A8-7600 with 2400MHz memory because we couldn't get it to work. This is either a limitation of our early engineering sample or an issue with the motherboards that may get corrected through a BIOS update. Dialing down the frequency to the 45w mode, the A8-7600 is reduced to 13.49GB/s – comparable to the A10-600K couple with DDR3-1600 memory.

The L1 and L2 cache performance has been improved as the A8-7600 was 21% faster than the A10-6800K. Reducing the thermal limit from 65W to 45W only reduced the cache performance by 9%.
