From our test results, it appears that the new 45nm processors produce roughly 6% more memory bandwidth at the same clock speed.
While both the 45nm and 65nm processors utilize a 1333MHz FSB, the Wolfdale core is aided by a larger L2 cache. SiSoftware also shows that at the same frequency, the 45nm processors are roughly 10% faster as witnessed by the E6850 and E8400.
