Test System Specs & CINEBENCH
- Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.00GHz) LGA775
- AMD Phenom X4 9500 (2.30GHz) AM2+
- x2 1024MB Corsair XMS PC2-6400 CAS4 Module(s)
- ASUS P5E3 Premium (Intel X48)
- ASUS P5N-T Deluxe (Nvidia nForce 780i SLI)
- Gigabyte X48-DQ6 (Intel X48)
- Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit)
- Nvidia Forceware (169.32)
- Intel System Drivers (8.4.0)
The CINEBENCH processor results are much the same on all three LGA775 motherboards which is not all that surprising since they all used the same Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 processor. That said, all three LGA775 boards also used the same GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card, yet the ASUS P5N-T Deluxe which uses the Nvidia nForce 780i chipset produced a noticeably better result when compared to the two Intel X48 boards.
