Although I would say this hardware mod is still on 'beta' stages and will most likely be perfectionate over time, there are some success stories out there already so if you are in the mood for voiding the warranty of your latest $400 investment, this should be your article.
The hardware mod consists of flashing XT bios and connecting two points in the PCB, pretty similar to what was made to processors a while ago, this will let your 12-pipeline 'Pro' work at full 16-pipeline 'XT' power, that should improve performance quite a bit of course. Proceed at your own risk.
