Microsoft's new DirectX 12 Agility SDK opens the door to direct CPU VRAM access
The new features introduce multiple efficiencies and eliminates the need to keep two copies of data for component access
Stardock's Ashes of the Singularity is an upcoming DX12 title that incorporates many of the new API's technologies. The most notable of them is 'explicit multi-adapter' (EMA), DirectX 12's multi-GPU technology, which enables support for both AMD and Nvidia GPUs in the same system.
