Back in May I had the chance to review the Samsung Galaxy S5, and as expected it performed fantastically. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 equipped model isn't the only S5 version available. The eight-core Exynos-powered model known as the G900H is typically sold in regions with no 4G LTE and comes as a slightly more affordable variant of Samsung's flagship smartphone. Another year, another Galaxy device. Since the release of the original Galaxy S in 2010, Samsung has been routinely refining their flagship formula through hardware upgrades, software polish and no shortage of gimmicks. We typically see larger displays, more cores, bigger megapixel counts, larger batteries and interesting new additions with every release. As you'd expect, 2014’s Galaxy S5 does little to break away from this formula.
