X1950XT 03-30-2008, 06:55 PM Are you allowed in the rules to post ebay links or no? Thanks :P twite 03-30-2008, 07:12 PM Normally that is iffy, especially with your low post count, i'm pretty sure any links posted would get hacked down pretty fast. Ad 03-30-2008, 07:12 PM X1950XT 03-30-2008, 07:14 PM Umm so is that a no?? twite 03-30-2008, 07:33 PM Well, i'm sure there is a rule on that, that a mod will post shortly. But in the meantime, i would at least wait until you have a higher post count to post any links. You don't want to make the impression that you are spamming. That doesn't mean go randomly post to get your count up, but rather gain respect from other users. X1950XT 03-30-2008, 07:37 PM Ok thanks! SNGX1275 03-31-2008, 02:52 PM No, I'm going to say you can't post ebay links. There is no way to tell you aren't self promoting, and if you are posting an ebay link you almost certainly are selling the item yourself. So no, you can't. Deals should be from traditional online vendors like listed in the posts in this forum, not a private seller or someone who has an ebay store. Also from the one of the Read links at the top of this forum: As for basic rules: The NO-NO list: - You can not use use referral programs when linking to any deals. - No illegal links. - No linking to pay-to-surf or pay-for-referral sites. - No ads! Dealers or sellers can not post their own stuff. Ignoring these rules will get you banned. I think the 4th point is relevent to this. |
