This is my first post, and I have my laptop (dell Inspiron E1405 using same board as 640M)) locked so i can't no longer boot or even enter bios setup.
I tried all the way to find the EEPROM written 24xxxx in motherboard. Unfortunately I could't find it. Before I go ahead, I just want to know if this model can be solved the bios problem with the old method like shortening the chip.
If possible, Please anyone tell me where and what is the right chip.
