Hi everyone,

This is my introduction.

I'm "egg chaser" an ex-pat middle aged Yorkshireman now living in Wellington New Zealand.

I'm an accountant drawn to computing through the need to use spreadsheets, databases and manipulate information for reporting purposes. I once also managed a small Windowsw NT network with an IBM AS400 on site.

I enjoy computing, have tried linux in various forms at home but have never had the time or expertise to do more than basic things with it (I set up a freesco router a few years ago which worked really well). Mostly my leisure time involves trawling the net and looking for bargains on the auction sites.
