Hello to all, my name is Michael, I friend of mine introduced me to this site. Lately I have been bombarded with what I feel is spy-ware. I consistently have pop up windows that advise me that I have a virus or I am being attacked. I use a laptop that has a firewall and anti spam. I tried to use ad- aware and spy-bot to no avail. My computer is slow and constantly I have problems with it freezing. If any one could please help me I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Michael

Michael, go to MalwareBytes Anit-Malware (http://www.malwarebytes.org) and download teh Anti-Malware and RogueRemoverFree programs. Install, update, and run the programs. The RogueRemover is especially decent at finding all the reg keys that cause the pop-ups.

Then run the Anti-Malware to get rid of other junk and keep your system clean. Both programs are free.
