Cant confirm my email address

i recieved the welcome e-mail with link to confirm. i click on the link and i am redirected to what appears to be techspot page where i left off, but just before logging in i recieve a message saying i did not click on the full site address. i tried this several times. i click on the web address that was sent, but does not complete same msg.
