I am having a problem though- I recently moved to a rural area and had to give up my dsl. I now have this very very slow dial-up and had to install a slow modem-- creative modem blaster v.92de5671. When this happen I lost sound. Any ideas concerning what went wrong.

Try reloading your sound card drivers.

try reloding also see if the ur exiting souncard is set as the default sound drvice.
