I forgot to introduce myself the other day when I stumbled upon your wonderful site. I was having trouble with dual booting Vist beta 2 and XP. When I got this error message at boot;
AUTO CHK PROGRAM NOT FOUND-SKIPPING AUTO CHECK
Well, if it would have skipped it and kept right on going to start up. it would not have been a problem, but it didn't, it wouldn't boot. And I had just reformetted that drive and did NOT want to do it again.
To make it short, I found the answer here, and saved myself a lot of time.
I believe it was "bbrass10" who had the correct answer.
So here I am, I'm not online as often as some ppl, but I will try to be helpful here as best I can.
Thanks
Brian
