Hi -
Name is vic - live in California. Been working with computers for almost 30 years. Built my first one from a kit and programmed it byte by byte with toggle switches on the fromt panel.
Yes I'm a COF - (Certifiable old fart). :)
Still working at age 70 - promised my friend that I work for that I wouldn't retire until he did. Keeps me busy and the $$ help support my computer habit. Mainly maintain the company network etc. Hobbies are woodworking for relaxation and flight simulation for fun. Was a pilot but medical problem years ago prohibit my flying anything but a simulator.
Have developed a sideline consulting business for people who run out and buy a computer and plug it in and when it stops - they haven't a clue.
Software is my main strength although I know just enough about hardware to get myself in trouble.
