hey everybody,
just dropping a hello post, been wandering the vast wastes of the net looking for a cozy oasis of hardware knowledge and this seems to be a good place to put up my tent for awhile.
i expect to ask FAR more questions then i answer :) but maybe someday i'll find a tidbit of knowledge that might be useful.
a couple bits on me; i'm a pro classical musician, and i spend as much of my spare time as possible playing PC games. i'm not currently addicted to any particular game and since my current connection is... well lets just say my ISP is evil but is the only one around, i don't play any online games.
i've been building my own computers since i was a kid so although i'm not current, i do have a basic grasp of most tech issues.
anyway, hope to learn a bunch from you guys.
