I am a retiree and use my computer mainly to keep in touch with my friends.

I am new to Firefox and ran into a problem right away.
I just bought a new iMac running OS X 10.4.11. When I access the home
page of a friend, (which I have done many times before using a G4 OS9.1
and IE), using Firefox I noticed there is no background music. I thought
this might be specific to my iMac and spent some time with an Apple
Tech support person but was not able to resolve the problem.
This problem does not seem to be specific to Mac computers.
I asked a friend of mine who uses Windows to try. When he uses IE
to access the same site, there is sound but if he uses Firefox, no sound.

If any one knows how to fix this problem, I will very much appreciate hearing from him.

And regarding your problem, you should create a thread about it in the Windows os section (Which can be located HERE (http://www.techspot.com/vb/menu15.html)). There, some expert should come up and help you ;)
