Best Rig for £1000 ($1425.00)?

What's the best rig for under £1000 ($1425)?

I'm thinking self-built..obviously, but a good already built rig would be good too - I'm lazy.

On the other hand, the cases at colorcases.com look pretty good, but what should I fill them with?

I want a rig for gaming mostly, with good performance elsewhere .

No more than a 17" monitor, and don't include a modem.

Please include all details - power supply, monitor etc.

Thanks :grinthumb

And for what Cuc is quoting, you can add a fine 19" monitor. Look at other's system specs too. Do your homework and get what you want, not what we want.

Don't be lazy. Doing extra "homework' won't hurt you.
