Hello, I would like to introduce myself to the community. I'm a small time computer amateur; I mostly came upon all my finite computer knowledge through picking up things here and there and googling computer problems I ran into with my own computers.

Now that we are through with that, I would like to ask where I might seek help with a computer issue I am currently faced with. The issue is that my computer will cease to boot past the windows xp pro splash screen that has the blue loading bar. I have searched through other threads and have not came up with anything definitive or satisfying so I thought I would ask my own questions.
