Just wanted to stop in and say hello. I have an eMachines (BOOO!), so I've been lurking for quite a while, just recently decided to join though. My affair with my eMachines has been love/hate from the very begining. I liked the AMD, and nVidia chipset, but if I'd known that these things were prone to catostrophic HD failure, I can't say I would have made the same decision (I'm on HD #3). I have in idea that may help some eMachines victims when it comes time to replace the MB/CPU that seems to be the root of evil in the eMachines, so I'll make a new discussion thread too (edit: nevermind, it's been discussed ...to death - lol). Looking forward to sharing some good info here.
