Is IE9 uninstalled after system restore?

Okay fellas,
I downloaded and installed the new Explorer 9.......I hate it! It seemed to slow down everything!
I retored my system to two days before and now it looks like I am back to using Explorer 8 again.
Did I do the right thing?
Is Explorer 9 now uninstalled off of my system?
Please excuse my ignorance of computer systems.

I have been waiting to see comments on IE9 having read a lot of problems were encountered with the Beta version. This is not a good start and I will waite until I see some positive comments about it before I take the plunge.

If you click on help in the top menu bar and then select About Internet Explorer that will confirm you are back on IE8 which also confirms you succesfully deleted IE9.

Be good to get some more comments posted here from anyone who has started to use IE9.

Did you download the correct version, 32-bit vs 64-bit.
It is not available for XP.
Do you have plenty of RAM?
