Using Linux to Save Files from crashed comp
I was wondering if there is a free from of linux that can be booted from CD and be used to save files from my crashed win98 system. I have a ZIP drive which I would like to utilize in this recovery process, but ms_dos wont recognize it. Any help or alternative data recovery suggestions are more then welcome.

You might want to take a look at either Knoppix, or DSL. Damn Small Linux( watered down Knoppix, 50 megs)
www.damnsmalllinux.org Knoppix can be found at linuxiso.org i would go with Knoppix for more driver support. |
