Can anyone tell me where i can download windows XP home edition or a HP Pavilion a809UK Recovery Disk.

take the short path first.

boot into SAFE Mode
then run System Restore from a restore point
Start->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore
 
Cant do that, I need the disk, Its the Operating System that is down and all i get is a black screen saying "Disk Boot Faliure, Please Insert Boot Disk and Press Enter"
that is all i get so i can not get into safe mode
