SB PCI Drivers

Are there any SB PCI drivers that support EAX ? I think i had
those kind of drivers, but after i updated the drivers, EAX stopp-
ed working. Windows didn't make any back-up files of the drivers
this time and my system restore was switched off. I'm running on Win XP.

I checked my soundcard info with SiSoftware Sandra and it only says "Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI". If that's not enough, then what other programs/ways are there to find more info about my soundcard ? Here's some more info: there read somewhere that i have "ES1371, ES1373" or sumthing like that. Is that any help ?

Go to this website and download their Sound-card identifier program:
http://www.esstech.com/techsupp/faq-...tm#audiodevice
The ES1371/ES1373 numbers correspond with their range.

Hmm... It says that it didn't detect any ESS devices.

Setup a search on Google with ES1371 or ES1373
You may have an Ensoniq soundcard, but it would really help us if you open your case and tell us exactly what soundcard you have.
If onboard-sound, look in your mobo-manual

Check with Creative here
http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/download.asp
and enter "SB PCI 128" or "Sound Blaster PCI 128" in the froduct window. Don't know if they support EAX under XP. That card is a bit long in the tooth (came out about 1998).
