Hi All,

I was seeking information about how to escape from the Spyware Hell I am currently experiencing and stumbled on this great site. There is a thread already running that has helped tremendously (and I have in the process learned several excellent OS tips as well) but my problems are slightly different (a bit more dire I believe) so I am going to append my question(s) to that thread to further extend the knowledge base... and the number of folks connected and indebted to this site!
