Bugcheck error

Hi, I've been getting blue screens and I checked the event viewer for the log and I got this :

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Save Dump
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1001
Date: 7/8/2008
Time: 11:52:52 PM
User: N/A
Computer: WILDCARD
Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc000001d, 0xbf810e37, 0xefb0a1b4, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini070808-01.dmp.

Can anyone help me out with this ? I have no idea what this means, or where the problem comes from. Can anyone please help me out ?

If you go to this location C:\WINDOWS\Minidump. you should have some mini dump files attach 5 of the newest ones.

Here, there is only one though. Weird, because I've had about 4 crashes.

0x8E errors are almost always due to hardware issues. The minidump gave a Windows core driver as the probabale cause which doesn't help much. So try the following in this order:

1. Run ChkDsk (type as spelled in your Run box)

2. Perform MemTest on your RAM for a minimum of 7 passes. www.memtest.org

3. Run a full harddrive diagnostics on your harddrive. You can a free utility off of your harddrive manufacturers website.
