Nvidia 8600m recall
I've been reading on Engadget how many if not most of the 8600m chips that have been used in many laptops in the past year have been recalled by Nividia for heat related failures. I have and HP dv9500t notebook with this card and I want to make sure that I have the proper drivers/warranty coverage and whatnot to keep me covered with this chip.How do I find out if I have an affected chip without making a phone call that will cost me $3 a minute? I know engadget put out a list but I cant seem to find it. Any help would be great! Thanks! sid

What recall? Engadget says the chips are faulty not recalled. Could you link to the article?
