What's worse is this is all an incredible fad. Each decade a "new" diet plan becomes the newest fad.

It seems to alternate between low-fat + high-carb one decade, then high-fat, low-carb the next.

2010 will bring us new findings of how low-fat diets are the best way to lose weight and everyone will hop on that bandwagon, ditching low-carb diets for the next 10 years.

It never fails...

The fact of the matter it is, if you eat a lot, you get fat. No one wants to admit it though and even less want to do something about it.

Not too far off... But there's low-carb burgers. Ha. Served on lettuce instead of a bun. Imagine that...

System specs
businesses don't really care about people's health. they are all about profit in a free market economy. they are giving people what they want. the atkins diet just gave overweight health conscious people an excuse to indulge in all the meat and fat that they want to eat. the atkins diet is supposed to be only temporary and not a permanent diet, but we all know people are just going to eat all the meat that they want.
