Can't post normally?

Hello,
Just having a few problems with posting on the forums, every time I try (except for this one) it does not let me and says that my account needs to be activated. I have followed the link in the email to activate it and also have logged in and out several times to try and see if that would fix it, but to no avail. Any help you could give would be kindly received.
Thanks
Sam

From our perspective you are indeed fully active. I recommend you try clearing your cookies, giving your computer a restart and logging in again.

Thank you.

Hmm, I've tried these options and even tried from someone else's computer, but still no luck. If it helps, I get this message everytime I try to start a new thread:

sammyboy, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Thanks again

I'm somewhat clueless about what could be going on. I suggest the following, try posting here (The Meeting Spot) which is not a restricted forum like the guides and solved issues board:
http://www.techspot.com/vb/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=6

Also do not include any links in your post, those won't be allowed until you post a few more times (we use this as an anti-spam measure).
