Why? did I vote Connery?

He has an authentic 'Isles' accent (Scot or not, it IS authentic).

He had short hair (or hairpiece, who cares) which any self-respecting spy would have - less to grab in a fight.

He was tall, athletic, spoke English like he knew what that was, and could wear a tux or sweats equally well.

Among other things, the guy was believable as a comic-adventure hero (which is what the series is about) rather than trying to be BELIEVABLE!

I rest my case!

It's difficult to compare early Bonds with later ones due to the technological improvement in the movies themselves. Ditto, I suppose that the "new guys" can pick and choose what they believe was best about the Bonds who came before. Plus, "Casino Royale" is a lot fresher in my mind than "Goldfinger". So, as soon as I"m done running my mouth, I'm going to say "Daniel Craig". Dunno if I believe it, I'm just gonna say it.

If you want and even bigger stumper, you might have asked "who was your favorite Bond Girl". Now that would take some sincere thought. Well, Ursula Andress is out anyway. Today's heroines are a bit more buff, and her bikini looks a tad dated. Way too much material.

Pfft... hands-down, Roger Moore was the best bond. He brought the character to life, if you ask me, and brought some levity to the role as well. All the other Bonds are just... bleh. "Why so serious?" comes to mind.

Well my favorite actor was Pierce Brosnan. I have nothing against Craig, I think he does a great job as well, but I still prefer Brosnan

Timothy Dalton for me. He was the first dark, edgy Bond who, IMO, largely influenced Daniel Craig's characterisation and performance. Roger Moore was just too "Hollywood-ish" and Sean Connery was smooth, but nonetheless unconvincing as a stone-cold killer and ladies' man at the same time.

Just my 2 cents.

Daniel Craig - very intense ..... mind you, the two movies that he's starred in have called for a lot more intensity as Bond than any of the previous films.

Favourite one of the lot - Casino royale.

I have to say my fav was Pierce Brosnan. He just had something about him.
Each actor has bought there on take on Bond which is good. But Brosnan did it for me.
Much better than when he was in Mamma Mia!!!!
