Suggestions for preventing Vundo?
Seems many people have been affected greatly by this virus lately. I've noticed that some people's computers have been infested with this virus more than once.
I am curious, what are the best ways to protect one's computer against Vundo infecting it again? I am always very careful about installing and downloading things that seem odd, unknown or suspicious online period, so how many ways does it manage to get in? I did update Java on my system as I read that this is one way that the virus can install itself through older versions of Java. Seems I managed to get rid of the infestation but I definitely don't want it wrecking havoc on my computer again so would love any tips or suggestions. Thanks in advance ![]() |
