Google search results divert to sales websites

When I search for something on Google, in Mozilla Firefox, often when I click on the search results, the link will initially take me to some sales site (bizrate, etc.). When I go back to the search page and re-click on the same link, it will then take me to the correct site. Initially though, I will end up getting diverted to a sales site about 50% of the time.

I've run virus scans, spyware/malware scans, etc. and found viruses and trojans, but even after getting rid of them and running everything again to check that my system is clean, this continues to happen.

Help!

I would delete these items shown in the Hijack log
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
  • O13 - Gopher Prefix:
  • O20 - Winlogon Notify: GoToAssist - C:\Program Files\Citrix\GoToAssist\480\G2AWinLogon.dll (file missing)
I would also consider disabling C:\Windows\system32\SearchFilterHost.exe
You can turn it off by opening your Services folder (click Start, Run, type services.msc and click OK), changing the Windows Search service startup type from Automatic to Manual and then clicking Stop the service.
