The only thing I can see thats better about the gx260 is the Memory Interface 448-bit compared to this asus, im looking into getting this video card is that other one somehow better?

The 4870 is the better choice, owing to the superior cooling and it is also cheaper than most GTX 260s. They are on-par when it comes to performance, with the 1GB HD 4870 edging out the NVIDIA card at high resolutions like 1920x1080.
