Where Do You Stand (Politics)

Yo, ne1 luv politics out there, i m not a keen fan, but am sure youve heard of the left/right line. You know, communism and facism. If you wanna see what your are then goto:

www.politicalcompass.org

see where you are, are you like Gandhi, or Hitler. It tells you what you're like on an economic scale and social scale, social scale being the communism and facism rating.

Seez all I don't even care bout politics and where i stand, but i was just curious. I was slighy facist, no where near hitler's level. I was nearly centre, which is ok.

Post back and tell us what u are, a dictator, or are you all for a free world, like a communist??

As expected, I'm just slightly economic left (like .12 as well, I foget exact number...) 1.25 towards the libertarian. Although the questions were poorly worded, I couldn't accurately reflect "neutral" or "somewhat more strongly than just agree, but not strongly" or in some cases the question was too ambiguous.

I'm farther left than Ghandi!

Pretty proud of my company- Ghandi, Mandella, The Dali Llama- fairly certain this doesnt make me a communist though.

I started out fairly left wing but now I am moving more towards right.

I would NEVER in a million years embrace the far right, but I did come to realise that being too socialist was a mistake and that not everyone out there deserves or wants to be helped. I think I lost my faith in human beings a little and decided that they were lazy, selfish and greedy, which is essentially what capitalism is all about.

There is some paradoxical language going on there. Im with you though- I used to be way more idealistic about humanity, but as I get older, I realize that people basically suck- suck if they are richer than me and suck if they have less than me and think I suck because Im richer than them.

Well, what I was trying to say was there is no way I could be some sort of Nazi. I am a little conservative now I guess, moreso than the socialism of my younger days. But I could never go to the far right. That was what I was saying.

i guess my plans for world domination is squashed. or is it? muahahahaha.

seriously though, i do not think i can go far right either. actually i learn about myself everyday so i do not know much about myself really. i just do not know enough about the world to have any true judgement on my political standing.

Now that was an interesting test, though the result was.... how to put this... mildly in error wrt to my political opinions...
Quote:
Economic Left/Right: -1.62

I'm a bit closer to Thatcher than what that score would indicate....

But then again, nothing else was to expect with a questionaire so much geared towards the population of USA and their interests...
But how the h.... I managed to get -1.62 on economic left?!?

Although the test was pretty comprehensive, it was somewhat difficult to choose in certain questions because I live in a 3rd world country and the propositions didn't reflect complete reality of my environment, I'd agree that test has been made with Americans in mind somewhat...

Economic Left/Right: -3.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.51

Living in the US, I think it was written towards us.. however even for the US it fails to reflect the environment (Missouri is far different from Silicon Valley or NY). I had a hard time chosing some of them, and was ticked I couldn't answre "Don't give a hoot" on several of those questoins.

Alrighty you Ghandi folks.. how about a game of Duke Nukem or Unreal Tourney? Come on, you know you wanna...

I wish I had scored definitively in one direction so I could at least talk about what kind of people I'm near. But instead, I'm nothing, I'm an anomaly
