GA7N-400L Mobo DO read higher temps!!!
I was worried about the temp of my 2500+ and have done a bit of digging and found that some GIGABYTE MoBo's read CPU temps approx 10C higher than other boards.
Phew! This has something to do with where it registers the temp, from the CPU die apparently. I wish I'd found this out earlier. I've been buggering around with extra case fans, heatsink goo, new CPU coolers... Hope this helps others. P.S i,ve got more fans in my toolbox now than Madonna

Thanks for letting us know about what you found out.
I'll have to check it out if I get a gigabyte board again at anytime in the future... |
