I'm looking to buy a video & photo organizing software and was hoping if anyone had any suggestions. The main features I'm looking for are found below:

1. The ability to put a title and a general description in each item
2. A search capability that looks for keywords in the title or the description
3. Ability to organize so that one photo can be placed into multiple categories
4. Lastly, to make sure certain items are either made private or password protected.

I've looked into PicaJet FX and a few others, but wanted to see if there are any out there. Thanks.

Others will likely have their favorites, but I have been using Compupic Pro (by Photodex) for years, and I have no reason to change.

My version doesn't have all the capabilities you are seeking, but maybe they have an update.

Have you looked into Picasa?

i also use picasa, i like that very much espeacially the graphic interface.
