PS3 DVD Lock-out

my ps3 won't allow me to insert a disk. this just happened all of a sudden, it was working fine and then just stopped working. everything else works fine, just won't accept cd's or dvd's, etc.

this is obvious but there's definitely not another disk in there all ready ,you should probably ring sony then, don't start taking it apart or sticking something in the slot you'll lose your warranty and you might damage it more

I dl'd the manual and found that it had a "forced eject" feature. You hold the eject button down for at least 10 seconds or longer and it unlocks the mechanism that hold the disk in. I did that, rebooted the system and success.

I really appreciate the replys Twister123.
