Very serious connection Problem

ok heres my problem. I got a cable modem (the ISP is Melita) and a router SMCWBR14-G. When I join a server for games my ping gets bad as hell 342, 632, 1542 . I think its from router because for Malta which is in europe have its own router version which is SMCWBR14-G2 EU. But before I buy a new one I wont to try to fix the problem. I reseted router , reseted modem, pinged ips, port forwarded removed all firewalls including router's, downloaded vista anti-lag.I have Laptop, and runs on wireless.

Please Help

I made a speedtest Look at results... my supposed internet speed is 10mb/s

Your download speed: 3.030 Megabits per second
Your upload speed: 420.8 kilobits per second

Open a command prompt window and try using the pathping command to gather statistics of amount time it takes between each "hop" along the route. This will help determine if any one or more "hops" (i.e. each hop represents a router) along the way is causing some/all/most of the delay. Example command usage and output statistics to google. In this case shows consistent/good times between hops and 0% packet loss at each hop (also helpful to know to understand why speed may be slow)
Code:
pathping www.google.com
Tracing route to www.l.google.com [64.233.161.147]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
