MS and HP on secret Windows pact (rumour)
The Inquirer hints that Microsoft and HP are negotiating a deal that would make the hardware manufacturer the official and exclusive support firm for obsolete versions of Windows. Given the huge installed base of users running old OS versions, this could be a potentially lucrative deal for HP.
