DVD software

hello everyone. i did a search but came up empty. i am having a problem getting my dvd burner to work with my computer and software i want to use. i bought a plextor dvd burner, and i am trying to use dvd x copy. the problem is that it reads the entire movie, but when it comes time to burn it, the computer freezes. i have a pent III, 700 with 384 of ram. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've had similar problems with low quality DVD discs. No problems now as I use Maxell and TDK

But it could also be because of incorrect ASPI drivers, does DVDXCopy use its own system or have you installed other drivers?
