Chip sales buoyed by wireless market
Global chip sales are on the upswing, propelled by a growing wireless market, according to new data from the Semiconductor Industry Association.
Chip sales jumped to $16.94 billion in April, the highest monthly level since July 2000, according to information released Tuesday by the San Jose, Calif.-based group. The figure represents a 36.6 percent jump compared with April 2003. Read more: CNet News. |
