Please help: Windows did not start successfully

Could someone please help!

My ASUS F3J laptop stopped working and went to a blue screen for a second and then shut down. On opening, the ASUS screen appeared and then the screen below:

---------

We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.

If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders, choose Last Known Good Configuration to revert to the most recent settings that worked.

If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or because the Power or Reset button was pressed, or if you aren't sure what caused the problem, choose Start Windows
Normally.

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked) Start Windows Normally

Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice.

Seconds until Windows starts: 30

------------

I have tried to open all of the options (safe ect) but the last known good config and normal only cause the screen to go blank and restart the computer and the open in safe mode starts running through what look like drivers and stops at "D347bus.sys"

It then stops and states "Esc to cancel loading D347bus.sys" if i cancel or do nothing then it restarts with the same problem.

I'm not sure what else i can do, I can open the BIOS page with F2 but not other F-keys appear to work.

Any advice would be great, thanks....

Maybe you have a corrupt hard drive. Try CHKDSK /p at the Recovery Console.
