Is charger ok for new battery?

I got a new battery for my daughters Dell Inspiron 1501. It is a 9 cell 7800 MAH. I got it on ebay. The charger I also got on ebay last year. It is a model st-c-075-19500334ct, input:AC100-240V~1.5A 50/60Hz Output:19.5V-3.34A. I am wondering because the charger seems to be getting very hot, but the recommended charger on ebay has the same specs. Your help is greatly appreciated!

it's normal for batteries to get hot when charging. I suppose the charger could get got as well. As long as it isn't dangerously hot, I wouldn't worry- keep an eye on it.

It felt pretty dang hot. I went ahead and ordered another just to make sure it doesn't damage my new battery. Thank you for replying.

Are they OEM batteries/charger? I would avoid cheap ebay knock offs like the plague.
