Q4 isn't developped by iD software, it has been licensed to one of Activision's studios, like Return to castle Wolfenstein which was developped by Grey Matter studios.

But I want Quake 13!

Maybe it'll be ready after Doom 8, Tomb Raider 18 and Final Fantasy 32...

Although Quake 4 is the sequel to Quake II, Raven and id hope to have multiplayer action like Quake III. It should be interesting if they are able to do this, because Q3A multiplayer was a blast!

Huh? Although Quake 4 is built off of the Doom III engine, it is going to be completely different.

I don't think that people should be worried about Raven Software working on Quake 4. id and Raven have worked together for a number of years, so it isn't like id just let some random company develop it.

Quake 4 preview posted at TechSpot.
