who's interested in the new price $199??


for those of you just got it for a month or two, i know how you
feel, my PS2 is only a month old. damn it.

I got mines about 1.5 years ago! on the launch date in the UK.
It cost £300 (GBP), which at the time worked out as $450(USD)...
I've more than had my monies worth out of it so I'm not that bothered at this price cut. Bigger user base can only be a good thing

I don't care about the PS2...:stickout:

They are still $299 here. Well, that's at the local Wal*Mart and a local gaming shop. Local Wal*Mart still has the Xbox @$299 also but the gaming shop has it @ $219

I dont think I will buy it now after getting GTA III on my PC. That really was the only reason why I was going to buy a PS2.

the ps3 is worth it's price and don't forget it's got a built in blu-ray player,but is there really a new price cut?Tell me more about this.In techspot i read that the ps3 is going to get a digital tv tuner.

Well basically it seems that they are still competeing with microsoft. They charge you for a HD-DVD player while Sony has blue ray built in. Now they come out with a new piece of hardware for the PS3 in which i am sure form the article they are going to charge owners for it. A usb device to enhance your PS3 capabilities sounds awesome though lol.

300 on Blue Ray is GREAT
