UK music to sue online 'pirates'

If you think that if you live in the UK you will be immune to the music piracy prosecutions that are sweeping the US, think again. Now it looks like the UK is following suit and suing online "pirates."

The British music industry has plans to sue 28 individuals that it says are illegally swapping music online. In the US, more than 5,700 people have since faced legal action, with many settling out of court. Now it looks like a similar thing is happening in the UK.
