USB Ports

Purchased a usb external device. Was told to plug into the two usb ports on the front of the pc as opposed to the two on the back. What is the difference? Thanks.

Depending on the specs of your PC, some have the older USB1.1 ports at the back and use a header with cable to the front ports with USB2.0.
Other than that, it should make no difference, if all ports are USB2.0 on your PC
