Problem with the sims 2 (This just made my day)
Hello, everyone.
I just bought the Sims 2. I installed it, and every thing went fine. Then, as I attempted to launch the game, I got an error message stating "Error: Could not find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphic adapters. Make sure you have installed the lastest drivers from your manufacturer" I installed DirectX 9.0c, but, what can I do next? I have no idea what this means, and I am very frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. - Please use proper thread titles Didou Last edited by Didou; 10-16-2004 at 06:20 PM. |

It's talking about the drivers for your video card. You might want to try updating those. It's possible your video card may not support the DirectX version required to play Sims 2 also. Though, I seriously doubt Sims 2 requires DirectX 9.0c.
