System will not post

I am rebuilding an older hp. My motherboard is pt800ce-a, memory is 256mb pc2100 ddr, I have a 2.6gig celeron processor, I bought a new case, ati, I am using the same hdd. When I go to boot it up I don't get a picture. Oh, I also bought a new graphics card as well. I am getting power through the motherboard but no picture. I tried new Ram too but still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas? I tried resetting cmos but nothing.
Thanks,
Paula

Need more system info. Are the video cards AGP or PCI? Do you have onboard video?
